"A Visit to the Aquarium" - Photography Podcast 118

Compact cameras can deliver terrific video as well as stills. This week's podcast features a movie I captured at the Tampa Aquarium during an evening event sponsored by Kodak at Imaging USA.

The lights were on in the ray and shark pool, and I got down low with my G9 mounted on a Gorillapod to shoot the activity through the glass. You can hear conversations I have with passer-bys asking about the camera and its abilities.

Monthly Photo Assignment

Empty is this month's photo assignment. Empty spaces, empty containers, empty lives... lots of possibilities for this one. You can read more about how to submit on our Submissions page. Deadline for entry is Feb. 29.

I have been waiting for the podcast to show up in iTunes, but it has not. Is there a problem with you feed to iTunes?

Yeah, I don't know what happened with iTunes. I tried all day yesterday to get this video to post there, and it just wouldn't. It's picked up my videos before, so something odd is going on.

I'll continue to investigate and try to get this to appear there. Next week is a regular audio podcast...

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It?s the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks??
