The 2016 workshop season breaks new ground for these popular events. First, we're journeying to the Eastern Sierra for Fall color. Then, if you've never explored the diverse Pt. Reyes seashore and vistas, you're in for a treat this summer.
Take a look at this overview, and if you see something you're interested in, fill out the "Send Me Info!" request form. By doing so, you're placed on the reserve list for the event of your choice. (That means you have first opportunity to sign up before all the seats are filled.)
- San Francisco Street Photography - April 15-17, 2016 - SOLD OUT! - Led by Derrick Story and Olympus Visionary Mike Boening, we'll work entirely on location in San Francisco. Our headquarters will be the picturesque Cartwright Hotel off Union Square. (No rental car will be necessary!) We'll explore the City's hidden treasures (Fort Point, Chinatown, Chrissy Field and more...) and capture them through our lenses. Plus a day trip via ferry to Sausalito. This is San Francisco like you've never seen it before. Three days for just $695. (Check out the Itinerary and Additional Information here.)
- Pt. Reyes National Seashore - August 19-21, 2016 - "From its thunderous ocean breakers crashing against rocky headlands and expansive sand beaches to its open grasslands, brushy hillsides, and forested ridges, Point Reyes offers visitors over 1500 species of plants and animals to discover." This is our first workshop in this magical location, and you'll be sure to come home with wonderful images and warm memories $595 for the 2-day event.
- Autumn in The Eastern Sierra: October, 2016 - Step back in time and explore an abandoned silver mining town in the remote reaches of the Eastern Sierra. This is a workshop for those who want adventure. This is the land of Mono Lake, Mammoth, and wide open spaces. And in the Fall, the Quaking Aspens radiate shades of yellow, orange, and red. It's an irresistible combination of location and season. We will spend our time on the high plains photographing, discussing, learning, and immersing in our craft - $695 for the 3-day event.
