Win by Entering "Blurb Book Page of the Month"

How would you like to get your hands on a $75 Blurb certificate and a copy of How to Make a Gorgeous Photo Book? Well, starting right now, you'll have an opportunity by participating in Blurb Book Page of the Month.

Blurb Book Page of the Month

All you have to do is build at least one book spread using the free BookSmart Software (Mac/Win). Save your entry as a PDF or take a high resolution screenshot of it (1400 pixels wide or more) then attach your pride and joy to an email addressed to me and configured as follows:

  • Subject: Blurb Book Page of the Month - [Current Month] 2010
  • Body of the Email: Include your name, email address, title of the book you're working on, and just a sentence or two about the book project. Feel free to mention why you're making this book, things you've learned during the project, and who or where you plan to share it once it's completed.
  • Permission: Copy this sentence and replace [your name] with your actual name -- "I, [your name], grant The Digital Story and Blurb, Inc. permission to use the attached artwork of my book and the included text in this email for publishing and promotion on The Digital Story and all Blurb-related sites."
  • Attachment: Don't forget to attach the PDF or screenshot

The cutoff date for the first submission is the end of this month. Once August is closed, Blurb will choose the Book Page of the Month and we'll feature it on this site. We'll also send the selected entrant a copy of How to Make a Gorgeous Photo Book and the $75 Blurb certificate.

You don't have to purchase anything to participate. You don't even have to publish the book you're working on, although we think you might want to once it begins to take shape. This event begins in August. So start working on your Book Page of the Month now.
