Caption: Andy Carroll - I spent a week at a cottage in central Ontario Canada recently and took pictures each morning on the way down to the lake for a swim. This little plant caught my eye because of its bright red berries. I had the camera right on the ground for this shot, taking advantage of the Canon PowerShot A610's flip-out screen -- the entire plant was just a few inches tall. I got right up close with the macro setting on, which accounts for the trees, lake, and sky in the background being nicely out of focus.
