- Caption: These two birds are competing for food. They were shot slightly backlit with a reflector to fill in the shadows. Their same age was shot with a Nikon D2X ISO 3.2 at 1/1000 of the second. The idea was to have a very narrow depth of field in order for the background to be as soft as possible. This image was postprocessed using Aperture.
