Caption: The photo was made at Coronado, CA (near San Diego) this past March. I happened to be there for three-day period of constant rain and even the first hail storm the area has seen in 25 years. Towards the end of the third day, the clouds began to clear. When this photo was made the sunlight was breaking in through a slit in the sky between dense clouds and the horizon illuminating the marina.
