Caption: Went on an excursion in Brooklyn yesterday with my brother and nieces. Came
across this statue of Henry Ward Beecher, brother of Harriet Beecher Stowe
(Uncle Tom's Cabin). Henry Ward Beecher was a well-known figure in his day
and was preacher at the Plymouth Church in Brooklyn Heights were this statue
by Gutzon Borglum (Mount Rushmore). Thought the way the sunlight illuminated
the statue, the photos would qualify as pool of light shots.
