- Caption: The story is a question -- does steam have texture? For this assignment took several shots of sun-raked crusty snow and ice, side-lit weathered old tress, and barn doors during a walk earlier this month. While reviewing the photographs from the walk on my PowerMac (my Aperture machine) -- I kept looking over to my PowerBook to my right where this photograph of steam rising out of a Sunday morning cup of coffee is my desktop background and I wondered, "Does steam have texture?" I'm betting it does on some level -- plus it is a much more interesting photograph than any from the walk.
