  • Caption: This is a picture of a petal on a Flowering Plume tree in our front yard. It had rained a few hours before, so the bark was wet and dark. I thought the petal and the bark made a nice contrast in texture. I used a Nikon D80 on a tripod with a 105mm lens. The flash was off the camera. I set the lens at f36 in order to get maximum depth of field.
