  • Caption: While we were holidaying at beautiful Port Fairy on the south-west coast of Victoria, I noticed these spent flower heads of the Brazilian Plume Flower. For reasons I couldn't figure out, the ladybirds seemed to be attracted to the empty capsules, and they fitted so nicely!! I used my (then) brand-new pocket sized Canon Ixus 800 IS, Digital Macro setting.
