• Caption: The sunset over the Ganges can be really wonderful full of glimmering shimmers. These were taken on the Ganges delta about 80 miles up-river from Kolkata. The sun as it gets low on the horizon turns into an orange orb as it filters thru the atmosphere and the was to the river as it swiftly flows by reflects the colors. The river at this point is about 3/4 of a mile wide.
