- Caption: I often photograph flowers and interesting plants with a soft background. I find it a challenge to see how tightly I can focus and how soft I can make the background using my kit lens. This one is almost too soft as there is no other detail except the flower. I cropped the outside edges, otherwise only a little tweaking to brighten it a bit.
