  • Caption: AFTER: I wanted the glowing hand to absolutely dominate the photo. I increased the contrast greatly, and I burned in the stones of the buildings in the background. Finally, I cropped away the distracting elements from the bottom and the left of the photo. I think this was the first time had played so strongly with contrast manipulation and burning in.
