  • Caption: I shot this image on Sanibel Island, Florida, during a winter trip. My wife and I were standing on a bulkhead, looking out over the Gulf of Mexico, when we noticed a flock of seagulls nearby. I particularly like this one, because of the lighting and the fact that, at a 1/500 shutter speed, the bird appears to float in mid-air.
