Photographers Talking About Podcasting and More

When I was organizing the 1,000th TDS Episode, there was some great content that I set aside for a follow up show.

Randal Schwartz is a book author, podcaster, photographer and more. I met him during my days at O'Reilly Media, and our careers intersected off and on over two decades. The interview you're about to hear was recorded for the 1,000 Podcast Celebration. But I decided to bundle it with two other conversations for this show about photography and podcasting.

Photographers tend to be good at many things. And I think there's a synergy that emerges from that diversity. This interview with Randal shines a light on how all of these things can blend together.

Aaron Hockley has combined his passion for photography with creating YouTube videos talking about the very thing he loves. Back at the dawn of Micro Four Thirds, he attended one of my workshops, and shares a few words about that experience.

Frederick Van needs no introduction. And the first part of our interview was on the 1,000th episode. But we had more to talk about, including the importance of podcasting for both of our careers. I share the second part of that conversation on today's show.

I so appreciate all three of these guys making time to talk about this craft we love so much.
