This is The Digital Story Podcast 1,073, Oct. 6, 2026. Today's theme is, "Your Old Photos May Be More Valuable Than You Realize." I'm Derrick Story.
I think most of us like to believe that our latest is our greatest. And that may be true technically speaking, but maybe not in terms of content. I'm going to share a story today about a photographer rediscovering his images from decades ago, and the impact they're having on his life today. All of that, and more, on today's TDS Photography Podcast. I hope you enjoy the show.

Your Old Photos May Be More Valuable Than You Realize
On DigitalCameraWorld.com, Tom May published a story about a student photographer wandered the streets of Detroit with a camera in 1972, then left the negatives in storage for four decades. What he rediscovered years later is a valuable lesson for us all. I'm going to share that story with you now.
