I just listened to the podcast while having breakfast and because of all the fresh carbs und the caffeine I was able to think about something :). You mentioned the importance of having time synchronized cameras. If you can't synch the cams or you're just too lazy to do it, you could snap a picture of one and the same wristwatch or something like that with every cam you're going to use. With Apple Aperture you could set the time to whatever the watch in the picture reads and shift the timestamps of all other pics from that cam accordingly. Haven't tried that technique but I think it should work.

I know you praised the G9 and I was wondering if you had any thoughts about the G10. I am looking for a P&S that does movies. I am a Mac user so it needs to be easy to use with iMovie.
Any suggestions? I am willing to wait if there is something in the near future that you think would be good.

Hi Karsten, yes, indeed, you could synch that way. But it seems to me that if you know ahead of time that you want pictures to synch from multiple cameras, the best way to go would be use the timestamp setting in the menu. But like so many other things in photography, if it works, then go with it.
Hi Bill, I like the G10 a lot, as I do the Panasonic LX3. Those are my two favorite pro compacts at the moment. But the PMA show is just around the corner the first week of March. I would sit tight until we hear all the announcements from that event. I'll report on my favorites that week.
